Before and After...can you tell the difference ....

Just cleared a space in my workroom.....no mean feat I can tell you.... have broken up for the Easter hols ...YAY.....two weeks of serious stitching ....what could be better but I couldn't even see one table top when I have actually four tables in my workroom .....methinks I am at saturation point .......but can't BEAR to throw anything out.......I can't even throw bits off the floor in the bin coz I say ...oooh that could go in a layer......There really isn't any hope for me is there ....Is anyone else out there like me ??? please give me hope ...
Thought I'd include some pics of a piece of crazy patchwork I did a while ago.. (Once I tapped in Crazy patchwork into Google images and a picture of me came up ...don't know how that happened ......how bizarre is that ?) thought I'd include it as it feels spring like somehow.......it's great to hear the birds singing again ......although it's a bit cold at the mo .....Happy Easter....xx

  3. Hey Lorna, love your class' postcards, enjoy your 2 weeks! your spring bird is sweet ;)

I save everything (you may have noticed) but I got to saturation point last Nov/Dec where it changed from a creative mess to somewhere I couldn't put my feet down. There was mould on a corner of carpet, half my stuff under the desk drawers, the woodworm had been & gone from the untouched for years stack of driftwood & the rusty metal pile was but a pile of rusty filings. So, I boxed up, sorting as I went, arranged new containers, took all the rather damp fabrics out, cleaned, rearranged the furniture & I've almost put it back together again. I feel it's a brand new workable space, but still mine. I'm surprised & delighted. Now I've gotta start making!
