Couldn't be more traditional than that .....Winchester Morris men led by our lovely friend Ian .....outside our local pub just round the corner from our house ....what could be more perfect on a May evening ......sorry pic a bit blue as it was getting dark ....Dance is The Bean Setter's dance ....although it's too early to plant yer runners yet ......xx
Bought a new second hand bike yesterday and went on a 10 mile bike ride today .....we left from Common Marsh and cycled to Timsbury about 5 miles away and back again ...... Horsbridge disused station were serving afternoon teas so we stopped for a cuppa ....Think I could live in a disused railway carriage ....Tea on Platform 1 ... ROAR !!!......... OUCH .........I need a hot bath ..... Jim looking as fresh as a daisy ....he cycles every day ......xx
I am a qualified Textile Teacher but now I am lucky enough to follow my dream being a full time Textile Artist and I love every minute I spend creating in my studio at The West Wing. I am passionate about textiles and am privileged to share my skills with others.
I run workshops for schools, colleges and groups.
I work 1 to 1 with individuals who might want help with basic sewing or more advanced techniques.

Come and visit my other blog ArtyMaker..I have been lucky enough, along with 8 other Textile artists to take part in The Enliven Project....a project organised by Eastleigh Borough Council....which means that we are working as artists in residence in local Charity shops ...we will create an outfit out of goodies we find in our allocated shop which will be put on display for a month. The outfit will then be featured in the Eastleigh music Festival weekend in July
