I just caught this pic of a cute little wren who was perched on the pottery castle Sophie made when she was in Yr 8 at school ..its just outside our back door ....it landed on the handle of our door before it perched here ...xx
I love the fabrics and bits of things you use. You have inspired me to dig out an old bridesmaid dress (it's orange and gold) and cut the heck out of it! :0)
The birds are back in full force round here. Love to see them flitting about. Seems hard to think Sophie was that small, now all grown up with her beautiful voice. xox Corrine
very cool pottery castle/birdhouse! at first glance i thought it was a 'shoe/boot house'...you know ...like from...'the old lady who lived in a shoe'!

Come and visit my other blog ArtyMaker..I have been lucky enough, along with 8 other Textile artists to take part in The Enliven Project....a project organised by Eastleigh Borough Council....which means that we are working as artists in residence in local Charity shops ...we will create an outfit out of goodies we find in our allocated shop which will be put on display for a month. The outfit will then be featured in the Eastleigh music Festival weekend in July
Here is the facebook page ..with lots of pics .....
