Did you make those blooming flowers and if so, is there a tutorial or book somewhere, I simply have to make those. I live in Cairns, Australia and there is nothing like this here. I have been dabbling in fibre arts for a long time now and I have never seen anything like these. I love your blog and check on it each day. Keep up the great work. Thanks, Genny
Lorna, those are so pretty!! Are they pins? I love the colors, especially the orangey red ones. Our daffodils are blooming! I am very happy to see them. :) Happy Spring to you! xox Pam

I am a qualified Textile Teacher but now I am lucky enough to follow my dream being a full time Textile Artist and I love every minute I spend creating in my studio at The West Wing. I am passionate about textiles and am privileged to share my skills with others.
I run workshops for schools, colleges and groups.
I work 1 to 1 with individuals who might want help with basic sewing or more advanced techniques.
Commissions are always welcome please get in touch with me to discuss your requirements. No textile job is too small .....:)
I sell my work through Etsy and you can find me on Facebook at Artymess Textile Art ...come and say hello.
Thanks for taking the time to have a glimpse at my world.
Thanks for stopping by to say Hello. Here I post snippets and snapshots of my life. Feel free to leave a comment or E mail me about anything you like. I am happy to hear from you.........Lorna xx

Come and visit my other blog ArtyMaker..I have been lucky enough, along with 8 other Textile artists to take part in The Enliven Project....a project organised by Eastleigh Borough Council....which means that we are working as artists in residence in local Charity shops ...we will create an outfit out of goodies we find in our allocated shop which will be put on display for a month. The outfit will then be featured in the Eastleigh music Festival weekend in July
Here is the facebook page ..with lots of pics .....
