Salisbury and Saris

Went to Salisbury to listen to Sophie singing tonight...beautiful singing, beautiful church...earlier in the day we went to football ...Come on you Reds .....yes they won ...phew ....but on the way to the football ground happened upon a quilting show.....couldn't resist these lovely braids and ribbons and recycled sari hanks this space to see what happens next with these bits.........x

  1. Lovely photo of you and Sophie, Lorna, and a beautiful church....i have some of those sari hanks too....i saw someone knitting with them and thought i might give it ago!!

  2. I'm sure you'll turn them into Lorna magic just like you did with Sophie it appears.
Are you able to breathe normally now since your show?
    xoxo Kim

  3. Oh I love those last ribbons/sari hanks...want those!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will tune in to see what they become at your talents hands.

  4. Stumbling over those beautiful sari hanks and braids would be like going to heaven for me.
Enjoy them! Love to see how you create with these! x Suzy

  5. Salisbury is so beautiful and I am sure you had a wonderful time. How fantastic to be able to do some "necessary" shopping as well.

  6. I love to hear a choir singing in a Cathedral or church, it sends shivers down my spine. Well done to Sophie.
Love those ribbons and sari threads, cant wait to see how you use them.

  7. Sophie always looks so pretty, takes after Mum. That is a beautiful church, the carved wood work in the arches is fab. Looks like you got
a wonderful stash at that quilt show. I will look forward to new work. xox Corrine

  8. I can't wait to see what you do with these bits. I love the photo of you arm in arm in the church pew together. YOu look so sweet and I can tell what a good person you are. :))
