Remember Remember dogs hate fireworks....

Yes it's that time again ....Guy Fawkes night fireworks galore ...drooling shaking dogs .....puddle on the floor.....why oh why don't they make silent fireworks? It's Sunday evening now and there are only a few going off at the moment so we have Tv and 2 radios on full blast again and washing machine on its longest cycle ..so hopefully it's over for another couple of months ......New Year's eve will be the next trial......some pics of our local fireworks we snuck out for an hour to watch them ......hope Whippet is ok today Iz.......x

Today we listened to Jim play at Joshua Tree ....nice relaxing afternoon and a great veggie roast to boot ......obviously I took my stitching ......it's nice to start getting back to normal activities ...I can't sit for very long but it is def a step in the right direction ....what did you do this weekend ?.......x

  2. Looks a lovely time, stitching and listening. What did I do? I bought a new car! And watched fireworks out of my window. Glad you're recovering at last :-)

  5. Hi Lorna! Wow, looks like you guys have some serious fireworks going on. :) We have to bring our dogs inside on the 4th of July, but we live far enough away from the action that they aren't too bothered. I'm glad your getting some 'stitching' time in, and I hope you feel better! xox

  9. Cats are not too keen on fireworks either, there's alot of slinking behind sofas. We have Diwali, an indian festival up here as well in October so like you, looking forward to a bit of peace and quiet for a while now. Love that you take your stitching out and about and that you're progressing healthwise :-)
