What the ....??? Scroll to bottom for explanation ....
It was my son Brady's surprise 30th party last night .his girlfriend organised everyone to dress as computer characters ...Brady thought he was coming to meet Ellie for a quiet meal but as he walked up the stairs of the pub we all started cheering ....he was really overwhelmed ...he then had to change into the costume of his favourite Computer character ...Hei Hatchi.....I wasn't dressed up in case you wondered (I look as if I'm in fancy dress a lot of the time anyhow )as I was a busy costume maker all week for all my other kids ....well grown up ones anyhow.....xx

I am a qualified Textile Teacher but now I am lucky enough to follow my dream being a full time Textile Artist and I love every minute I spend creating in my studio at The West Wing. I am passionate about textiles and am privileged to share my skills with others.
I run workshops for schools, colleges and groups.
I work 1 to 1 with individuals who might want help with basic sewing or more advanced techniques.
Commissions are always welcome please get in touch with me to discuss your requirements. No textile job is too small .....:)
I sell my work through Etsy and you can find me on Facebook at Artymess Textile Art ...come and say hello.

Come and visit my other blog ArtyMaker..I have been lucky enough, along with 8 other Textile artists to take part in The Enliven Project....a project organised by Eastleigh Borough Council....which means that we are working as artists in residence in local Charity shops ...we will create an outfit out of goodies we find in our allocated shop which will be put on display for a month. The outfit will then be featured in the Eastleigh music Festival weekend in July
Here is the facebook page ..with lots of pics .....
