New Bike ...Yay ......10 Mile ride ...Saddle sore ....Ow ....
Bought a new second hand bike yesterday and went on a 10 mile bike ride today .....we left from Common Marsh and cycled to Timsbury about 5 miles away and back again ......
Horsbridge disused station were serving afternoon teas so we stopped for a cuppa ....Think I could live in a disused railway carriage ....Tea on Platform 1 ...
ROAR !!!.........
OUCH .........I need a hot bath .....
Jim looking as fresh as a daisy ....he cycles every day ......xx

ReplyDeleteA good soak will sort you out, I've done the same myself many moons ago, got a new bike and I went for miles, forgetting I had to cycle all the way back, ouch. Looks like a great day out :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new bike. I love the lush green of your surroundings. My husband is a bit of a rail fanatic, and last summer we spent a couple of days at a motel made up of converted rail cabooses in Northern California. It was quit cozy actually :)

ReplyDeletebiking is fun...and tiring...and makes your muscles ache...if they're not used to it!! ha!
but it's such good exercise...and you can get to where you're going a little quicker than walking!
