Playing with plastic and sea themed creations ......

These are some mixed media paintings I did a while ago based on sea ,seaweed, water and leaves.........bit different from my textile work.......

Playing with melted plastics ........these will probably end up in some new ATCs...

A piece of felt I made ...ammonite done in free machine embroidery

A papier mache mirror that I made eons ago which is hanging in my hallway.......

  1. I feel like I am exploring the depths at the bottom of the sea with your paintings and waiting for new creatures to emerge. Your sea themed mirror is quite wonderful as is the wool piece. xox Corrine

  2. You're so multi-talented. That painting is really something. Paint and neutral colors, who woulda thunk it was by you? I love it, especially the close ups, they would make great backgrounds.
Your plastic fusing is fascinating to me as well as the free embroidery.
    Don't you just love ammonites!
    Have a great day, Lorna!

  13. Lorna, I feel like such an ungrateful turd! I received the wonderful blondie skull pillow, just a little bit before my surgery, and just now realized that I forgot to tell you it arrived safe and sound, and that I love it. The velvet on it is just luxurious! My hubby brought the package to me in bed after a long crappy day, and it brightened my world. Thank you so much! Sorry I didn't say anything sooner!

Also, those melted plastics are awesome! I hope you're doing well!
