Oh, this looks so cold, I'd forgotten how I used to break the ice from the puddles as a child growing up in the UK. I must say I prefer our balmy warm weather, even though we have rain at present.
Looks like a grand romp in that lovely , open field. I would want to run about like Gracie too! We did the same here this morning with Mr. Philo leaping through the woods and the leashed ones hopping about and sniffing coyote tracks everywhere. Good breakfast and a warm bed and they are all of to nap land. Ice everywhere here, skating on the pond now....xox Corrine
Gracie is the old, recovering from surgery dog, right? I can't imagine how much energy she had when she was young. What a joy it is to watch an energetic dog playing, glad she is doing so well. Looks like a wonderful day of play for all. In fact it looks a lot like my back field.

I am a qualified Textile Teacher but now I am lucky enough to follow my dream being a full time Textile Artist and I love every minute I spend creating in my studio at The West Wing. I am passionate about textiles and am privileged to share my skills with others.
I run workshops for schools, colleges and groups.
I work 1 to 1 with individuals who might want help with basic sewing or more advanced techniques.
Commissions are always welcome please get in touch with me to discuss your requirements. No textile job is too small .....:)
I sell my work through Etsy and you can find me on Facebook at Artymess Textile Art ...come and say hello.

Come and visit my other blog ArtyMaker..I have been lucky enough, along with 8 other Textile artists to take part in The Enliven Project....a project organised by Eastleigh Borough Council....which means that we are working as artists in residence in local Charity shops ...we will create an outfit out of goodies we find in our allocated shop which will be put on display for a month. The outfit will then be featured in the Eastleigh music Festival weekend in July
Here is the facebook page ..with lots of pics .....
It all looks gorgeous. Happy 2011 xJ

Hi Lorna, just popping in to say Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteGracie is sooo funny. How did you ever keep her still while her leg healed? :)) She is a happy girl isn't she?
