Oh. My. Goodness. Here in the desert, we do get cold winters, sometimes including snow. I love to wear a gray wool pea coat, and wouldn't that brooch just make me look grand enough to take to church on Sunday? Thank you, Lorna, yet again.
Oh Dear Lorna - Not again! It really is not much fun is it? Your brooch has turned out well and it is a good thing to be doing at the moment! Hugs, Suzy
Oooh lucky her. Kim sends hugs and hellos, will have some pics next week of a certain cool purse, by a cool chick in the UK, oh, that's you!, taken in my studio. Missing you, wish you could be with us at Squam...xox Corrine
I'm so sorry you're hurting again, Lorna. That's no good. We took pics of your purse in Corrine's studio so that your spirit was indeed with us. Nice lace brooch, I just got a good deal on some old lace at an antique store while I was killing time before I flew south. Sending healing thoughts, sweetie xoxo Kim

I am a qualified Textile Teacher but now I am lucky enough to follow my dream being a full time Textile Artist and I love every minute I spend creating in my studio at The West Wing. I am passionate about textiles and am privileged to share my skills with others.
I run workshops for schools, colleges and groups.
I work 1 to 1 with individuals who might want help with basic sewing or more advanced techniques.
Commissions are always welcome please get in touch with me to discuss your requirements. No textile job is too small .....:)
I sell my work through Etsy and you can find me on Facebook at Artymess Textile Art ...come and say hello.
Thanks for taking the time to have a glimpse at my world.
Thanks for stopping by to say Hello. Here I post snippets and snapshots of my life. Feel free to leave a comment or E mail me about anything you like. I am happy to hear from you.........Lorna xx

Come and visit my other blog ArtyMaker..I have been lucky enough, along with 8 other Textile artists to take part in The Enliven Project....a project organised by Eastleigh Borough Council....which means that we are working as artists in residence in local Charity shops ...we will create an outfit out of goodies we find in our allocated shop which will be put on display for a month. The outfit will then be featured in the Eastleigh music Festival weekend in July
Here is the facebook page ..with lots of pics .....
