Just imagine the work when you do get stitching again...possibly entitled,'Liberty' LOL! Hope your back is feeling mush less painful and on the road to recovery soon.
One week down, just one week to go..Then you may be able to move about a bit. Take care of your back Lorna...Teachers always put others first and go back to work too soon after illness or injury...I know all about that.I know how Admin Teams at school make you feel guilty if you are away...Have some nice DayDreams about what you are going to do in the future, and REST..
Don't go insane, Lorna! lol! You'll be stitching soon. I get that way, too. After a few days of no art, or no writing, I get antsy. I hope you are up and around soon!!
Yes I did enjoy, you do such beautiful work. So sorry you are having to go through this. I'm glad you have kind people helping you, being able to be out of doors must help a bit. Hopefully you will soon be grunting and groaning in a different way again;-)

I am a qualified Textile Teacher but now I am lucky enough to follow my dream being a full time Textile Artist and I love every minute I spend creating in my studio at The West Wing. I am passionate about textiles and am privileged to share my skills with others.
I run workshops for schools, colleges and groups.
I work 1 to 1 with individuals who might want help with basic sewing or more advanced techniques.
Commissions are always welcome please get in touch with me to discuss your requirements. No textile job is too small .....:)
I sell my work through Etsy and you can find me on Facebook at Artymess Textile Art ...come and say hello.
Thanks for taking the time to have a glimpse at my world.
Thanks for stopping by to say Hello. Here I post snippets and snapshots of my life. Feel free to leave a comment or E mail me about anything you like. I am happy to hear from you.........Lorna xx

Come and visit my other blog ArtyMaker..I have been lucky enough, along with 8 other Textile artists to take part in The Enliven Project....a project organised by Eastleigh Borough Council....which means that we are working as artists in residence in local Charity shops ...we will create an outfit out of goodies we find in our allocated shop which will be put on display for a month. The outfit will then be featured in the Eastleigh music Festival weekend in July
Here is the facebook page ..with lots of pics .....
