Birthday ...Burgerman.....Buddha


The postcards are from Emma at Little Bit of Everything she is doing a birthday swap and these GLORIOUS postcards are the ones she made for Jim and me...I love the colours I hope this pic does them justice ...Thank you Emma ...

Went to Winchester today and found an exciting exhibition in the library by Jon Burgerman called Brain Drain....very colourful graphic type images ....some of the paintings were done on cardboard and fabric shawls with his funny little images on






The Buddha ATC cards have been inspired by Hannah's Buddha from the last post

  6. Hi Jennie yes I did go to creative crafts and spent too much money ...I'll have to save soon ....yes it would be good to meet up for a coffee in winchester sometime maybe we'll have lots of free time soon .....xx
    Janny my birthday is at the end of June but I am not 60 yet only 55 I am going to do a swap like emma when I am 60 so a few years to wait yet ....xx

  7. I recognize Emma's style right away!!! It's those little gold bits from the cig's packs.....Your birthday coming up too, eh, we we can send some to you even it it is not a swap!!! Fascinating exhibit, like the recycled card board used for the painting, thought about Picasso when I saw them. Your ATC's grande as always my friend! xox Corrine

  16. I didn't realise you were in my area - that means I could well have found that sewing machine! I saw the exhibition in Winchester, it reminded me of my sons work, though not as scary- see my DBO links. Enjoy your half-term.
