Feather in my cap .......
Went to the sea on Sunday.... a bit of beachcombing is just the ticket ....had a promenade along the front ending up at 'The Blue Penguin' greasy spoon cafe for a plate of chips .......also I went to have a look at artist's spaces yesterday and have put my name down for one ..YAY...exciting stuff don't know how I'm going to fund it but what the hell I had to 'go for it'........it's now or never ......still not much creating going on but am just in my lair licking my wounds I'm sure it won't be long now before I am back in the swing of it...I have been asked to make about 15 items to go in The Art House shop ....so I need to get my finger out soon..Thanks to everyone for support and encouraging words they mean such a lot.....xx

Does it perhaps sound a little ridiculous when I say I'm actually exited for you? Although you've probably been pushed into doing it rather than drifting there of your own accord, you putting your name down for an artists space is such a positive move. You taking charge rather than being dictated to by the whim of others. New beginnings, new adventures, new inspiration, new friends to be made along the way. What's not to like?!
ReplyDeleteThere are never enough visits to the beach as far as I am concerned. gorgeous pics.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely pictures! You all look so contented and happy. Congrats on the art space. You go, girl. Your work is gorgeous!!! xox
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, thanks so much for leaving a comment on my blog. That certainly makes blogging extra special! :)
Your photos make me want to visit the sea again. I could almost smell the salty air! :)
Are you interested in winning a white cotton T-shirt with a pink heart and the words I ♥ Oktoberfest in size L? Then come over to my blog until Sunday, 22nd January, and leave a comment here .
What about having a look at my Advent and Christmas and getting an impression of Munich's Christmas market ? Moreover, you can see some frosty weather photos and pictures from a walk around my neighborhood on January 1st. Finally, there are photos of New Year's Eve . Of course, comments are welcome -- it's always great to hear what you think!
Have a wonderful 2012,
your blog friend from Munich, Germany,
Birgit

For crap sakes, lousy, miserable shit...there, now I have it all out about you losing your job. That stinks. But, on a positive note, remember you are the Goddess and it truly is their loss.
